Event season is officially upon us, and with JX2 wicked busy Joe asked me to come help out with the last day of the annual New England First Robotics Competition at the Big E when he had a different event to run out to.

The show was relatively straightforward, but coming in to direct and engineer something that I didn’t design or build is always a little challenging, especially something with some decent routing complexity. The competition had two different matches going on simultaneously, with separate switched feeds being sent to the LED walls on each half of the arena, except for when we entered “one show” mode and broadcasted one signal to the full room. There was some nuance here that isn’t worth getting into. All in all, the show went well and the client was very friendly.
