A couple weeks back I took a few days off from my real job to work a few college commencements, and one day had a few hours in the morning free before call. With Cooper needing a bath anyway, he and I decided to go for a quick hike to get extra dirty first.
We love all the Minnechaug Land Trust conservation areas but have never been to their titular property, Minnechaug Mountain. Cooper and I had a great time hiking on empty trails, with a surprisingly nice view that photos don’t quite do justice.
Cooper was such a good boy on the hike that I let him swim once we finished our loop – but who am I kidding, I definitely would’ve let him take a dip either way. May as well make the most of bath day. Plus, he loves it so much. It really feels like summer is here!
