Today was pouring rain and Cooper happened to be due for a bath anyway, so we took advantage of the situation and went for a dip (well, for one of the three of us) at Springfield College’s East Campus over on Lake Massasoit.

Cooper isn’t getting any younger and turns nine in just over a month, but he still knows how to get down in the woods and water. It brings me so much joy to see him in his element.
I’m very grateful that Springfield has tons of open space, and am always shocked to see how few people use it. I guess people just get caught up with life, which I get. I try my best to never take these moments for granted, because I’m pretty lucky to have the circumstances, time, ability, and resources to fully experience everything life has to offer.
